This course aims to prepare those who are interested in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) for their future career. Fundamental understandings of English teaching principles and approaches, including the Grammar Translation Method, Communicative Language Teaching, and Task-based Language Teaching will be introduced. Equipped with such knowledge, you will be guided to discuss and conduct teaching demos in class. We will also learn how to design lessons. Students are welcome to incorporate technology into their lesson planning.
